Convocation Day-2026
21.03.2026:The day began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by
Rev. Dr. Alphonse Britto, OCD, Councillor in-charge for
Spirituality. It was a concluding mass for the academic year 2025
2026. All roads were leading to Dhyanavana as we also celebrated the
Convocation Day. Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao, SJ delivered the
Keynote Address on the theme The Soul s Deepest Desire Union with
God. This theme from St. John of the Cross coincides with the third
Centenary Celebration of the Canonization of St. John of the Cross
and first Centenary Celebration after declaring him as the Doctor of
the Church. The Bishop also conferred the certificates to the
students. Rev. Fr. Silvestre D Souza, OCD, the Provincial Superior
and the President of the Institute delivered the Presidential
address and released the Annual Magazine. Rev. Fr. Alphonse Britto,
OCD, Councillor in-charge for Spirituality was the Chief Guest and
officially released the Documentary Video of Dhyanavana. After a
wonderful performance which also consisted of a Prayer Dance by our
day Scholars (CSA sisters) and a Folk dance by our inmates, the
program ended with Dhyanavana Anthem and we all moved to the
refectory for a sumptuous meal.
