New Appointment

We are happy and glad to announce that Rev. Dr. Rathan Nicholas Almeida, OCD, our Director has been appointed by the Karnataka Region Catholic Bishops’ Council (KRCBC) as the Secretary of the Desk for ‘Theology and Doctrine’ with effect from 1st November 2023. The job of the “Desk of Doctrine and Faith Matter” is to clarify and give position of the Church on certain matters referred to it, keeping in mind the teachings of the Holy Mother Church. The Chairman of the Desk for Theology and Doctrine is Most Rev. Peter Paul Saldanha, the Bishop of the Diocese of Mangalore. We wish our dear Fr. Rathan all the very best in this new assignment and pray God’s wisdom and blessings.
