DHYANAVANA DAY : Feast of St. Edith Stein, Our Patroness
Celebrated on October 10, 2015

Dhyanavana was full of joy and cheer as the day had dawned to celebrate “Dhyanavana Day” – the Feast of ST. EDITH STEIN, our Patroness on October 10, 2015.

The Director, Rev. Fr. Dominic Vas OCD, welcomed one and all who amidst their busy schedules, found time to join in our joy and celebration…

Professor Chandy, Mr. and Mrs. Orbertho Pinto, Pushpashrama Community, Dhyana Sadhana Fathers and Sisters, spiritual directors, moderators and confessors; as well as many Fathers, Sisters and Brothers from near and far.

The evening was made colourful with a cultural programme consisting of various cultural dances, skits and drama very well performed by our student sisters.

In view of our “Institution Day”, various competitions were held. Most of the judging was done by a penal outside the institute. The names of the eminent and efficient judges are: Fr. Alfred, Fr. Oswald, Fr. Ronald, Fr. Vijay, Mr. Gavin Wilson, Ms. Swetha, Ms. Bindhu and Ms. Lavina. Thus we had the “Prize Distribution” to mark this event. The prizes were distributed by Rev. Fr. Leslie Moras.

Thereafter Fr. Leslie Moras spoke a few words which encouraged and inspired our student-sisters.

The programme concluded with a meaningful Vote of Thanks delivered by our dear sisters, followed by a delicious fellowship meal.
